SunnyvaleHome of the 7th most populous city in the entire San Francisco Bay Area, Sunnyvale is home to over 150,000 residents and a number of high tech companies! Residents enjoy a number of amenities and events with it’s neighboring city, Cupertino. Northern Sunnyvale (94085 & 94089) located Southeast of 237, North of Central Expressway and West of Calabazas Creek is mostly zoned to mobile homes, industrial and commercial use. However, newer communities such as Tasman Crossing have begun to pave the road for more residential zoning in Northern Sunnyvale.
 
Where as Southern Sunnyvale (94087) located South of El Camino, East of Route 85, West of Lawrence Expressway and North of portions of 280 & Homestead is mostly zoned to residential use. Also known for its wonderful School District, most homes in 94087 are zoned to Cupertino Schools mainly West Valley Elementary or Stocklmeir Elementary, while some attend Collins or Chester Elementary. Cupertino Middle is the middle school for over 95% of the homes in the 94087 zipcode in Sunnyvale. Sunnyvale is also home to its own top Elementary schools including Cumberland Elementary & Cherry Chase Elementary!
 
Central Sunnyvale (94086) which is situated North of El Camino, South of Central Expressway, East of Lawrence and West of Mary is a good mixture of residential use & industrial use. Being situated minutes from Downtown Sunnyvale and zoned to some of the top Sunnyvale Elementary schools and the better of two Middle Schools (Sunnyvale Middle), Central Sunnyvale has seen great appreciation over the past 3 years!

In November 2009, previously closed portions of the main streets in downtown Sunnyvale were reopened as part of the ongoing downtown redevelopment of the Sunnyvale Town Center mall, marking the first time in over three decades that those street blocks have been open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
